This guide will help you get started with BART and introduce the key features you’ll use as a Member. Whether you’re new to BART or just looking for a refresher, this guide will help you get up and running quickly and confidently.

What you’ll use BART for

  • Viewing incidents and events (Broadcasts)
  • Responding to Broadcasts
    • Green thumbs up – yes im responding
    • Red thumbs down – im not responding
    • Yellow – other
  • Updating your availability
  • Logging your activity (check-in)
  • Communicating with your Group

Quick Start (5 Minutes)

  1. Download and open the BART App on your device
  2. Log in with your details
  3. Enable Notifications, Mobile Data, and Location Services
  4. You’re ready to go!

1. Download the BART App

Follow the links below for the Apple App Store or Google Play to install on your device:

2. Log into BART

When your new Member account is created, you will be sent an email with your temporary login details. Please note, that in some cases the email might end up in your spam folder.

Follow the link in the email to setup your own chosen password, which you will use to log into the app.

3. Enable Notifications

When you first log into BART, you’ll be prompted to allow notifications, critical alerts, location services, and mobile data. It’s important that you allow these services to ensure all functions in the BART app work correctly.

Please note, if you have an Android device, there’s a few extra steps you need to take to ensure you receive notifications without any delays. You can follow the instructions here.
