Recommend Devices

Introduction

We regularly get asked about what device is best for ensuring BART can operate under optimal conditions. So, we have prepared this guide to provide you with a better understanding of how various devices may impact your experience with the BART Team App.

Optimal Devices

There are a wide range of devices available with varying capabilities and, of course, price tags. Based on your own circumstances, the following list may not be suitable, however if you are looking for the best experience, performance, reliability, and security in running the BART Team App, we recommend the following device families:

  1. Apple iPad Pro, iPad (2018+) or iPad Mini 5 (2019)
  2. Apple iPhone XS / XR or newer
  3. Samsung Galaxy S9 or newer (Android has limited flight functionality)

If you are looking for the best reliability and performance for notifications, we recommend the Apple iPhone with their Critical Alert functionality.
